Following the recent Cyber Monday series of workshops hosted by the Joint Technology Committee (JTC), the IJIS Courts Advisory Committee (ICAC) is offering a chance to engage with the experts in an extended Q&A forum. Participants will hear from numerous professionals with first-hand knowledge and experiences and also be encouraged to participate in an open discussion with a chance to drill down in more detail than the usual presentation format.
---
Session #1: 11:30 – 1:00 PM (EST)
After a review of the critical takeaways and next steps from JTC’s Cyber Monday series, the morning session will promote an engaging dialogue with subject matter experts on what the vulnerabilities are within our court communities and what the best practices are to help mitigate those risks. Through active dialogue amongst attendees, this session will also help identify what enhancements are needed to better serve and protect our communities despite the increased threat of cyber vulnerabilities.
Session #2: 3:00 – 4:30 PM (EST)
The afternoon session will provide attendees with an opportunity to hear what IJIS members are doing to help mitigate the risk for our communities when combatted with cyber-related challenges. Specifically, we will hear from service providers who offer cloud infrastructure solutions and cloud applications to help increase cyber hygiene for those clients. Come prepared to engage with these SMEs and other members on the call, ready to learn and respond to the gap in needs and available solutions.
