Our friends in the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department have developed a couple of simple and easy to use court apps. They are available in English and Arabic on the Apple App Store so you can download them to see how they work?
---
The first app, "Inform the Prosecution" lets one capture and create complaint information to be submitted to the prosecutor’s office. It is not unlike "Justfix.nyc" in its approach except it is for criminal type matters.
There is, of course, the initial registration information that asks the location region date and time where the incident occurred.
The last step asks whether the prosecution should contact the filer and submission?
The other app, the ADJD MobileApp is familiar to many courts for sharing and disseminating information such as the ability to query the date, time, and location for a court hearing. The ability to participate in a court auction online and what they call “M-services” such as case inquiry, and electronic pre-judgement & enforcement motions and a view of a user’s electronic requests, along with digital notary services.
Congratulations to the Abu Dhabi Judiciary for this good work and for a design that other courts can emulate?
