NIEM 3.0 “Coming Soon” Website Announced

The National Information Exchange Model program has posted a new website for practitioners to track the progress of the new version 3.0 development.

According to the new “Coming Soon NIEM 3.0" website: “In July, 2012 the NIEM Executive Steering Council approved the initiation of NIEM 3.0 activities”.  Over the next year the standard will be updated with:

• “Technical architecture enhancements and fixes.”
• “New NIEM core harmonization updates and domain updates.”
• “Updated NIEM.gov tools (to reflect 3.0 architecture).”
