In the recent committee meeting held in Atlanta, Georgia on July 22-23, 2018 the following priorities for 2018/2019 were set by the COSCA/NACM Joint Technology Committee. The subjects are:

• National Court Open Data Standards
• Data Extraction and Redaction
• Court Component Model
• Online Dispute Resolutions (ODR)
• Open Source Repository
• Court Related Tele-Services
• Cybersecurity
Discussion of the development and use of data and information portals will also be a focus of the group.
In addition, an interesting and informative presentation on the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and its potential impact upon the courts, particularly in the USA was made. The presentation slides summarizing the findings are available for viewing and download here.
