Court Technology Conferences are an incredible deal. Many other tech conferences cost $1,500 or more. When we make this post, there are less than two days to register for the conference at the regular rate. CTC is the event of the year, some highlights below.
---
- From Data to Information: Dynamic Dashboarding that Works. Court data dashboards need a lot of development to make them useful. Find out the exciting things happening in Orange County, California.
- Court Application Components: What Are They and Why Do They Matter? Learn about the Joint Technology Committee’s plan to promote a more modular, business-driven approach to designing and implementing applications that make up a complete court application ecosystem.
- Court eReminder: Using Electronic Communications to Reduce Failure-to-Appear Rates. Electronic communications work well when courts use them. Learn what happened in Minneapolis.
- Digital Design for User Experience. Come to this one to hear two of the conference’s most dynamic speakers: Margaret Hagan, director of the Legal Design Lab and a lecturer at Stanford’s Institute of Design, and Shannon Salter, chair of the newly created BC Civil Resolution Tribunal, the first online tribunal in Canada and one of the first in the world.
As mentioned above, registration rates increase Sept. 1. If you book your room at the Hilton, and you stay at least three nights, you’ll receive double Hilton Honors points and free wifi.

Last, if you had a chance to participate in the LegalXML Webinar last week, the slides are now posted at: http://ctc2017.org/legal-xml-webinar
I hope to see you soon in Salt Lake City!
